Togher Market
- Togher market was founded in 2022 by Togher Tidy Towns showcasing local Arts and Crafts and local food produce.
- To date there have been 18 Markets across two local venues, O’Connell Court (outdoor) & St Finbarrs H&F GAA club (indoor).
- The market has grown to be one of the biggest local markets in Cork City.
- Raised over €6k through raffles over the two-year period for numerous charities ie, Cork Penny Dinners, Dogs for the Disabled, Togher Men's shed, Meals on Wheels and O’Connell Court to name a few.
- We have a Tidy towns Kindness and book table whereby members of the public are invited to bring or take away any items or books for FREE
- Outdoor Markets, we give demonstrations on planting from our horticulturist volunteer to the children.
- 8 Markets in 2023 with 27 local stalls
- Over €6k collected for multiple charities since 2022.
- Cork Penny Dinners, Dogs for the Disabled, Togher Men's shed, Togher Meals on Wheels, O’Connell Court.
