Looking to get more involved in local biodiversity efforts? A fantastic Citizen Science Workshop is taking place in Cork City on Friday, 23rd May from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Lifetime Lab, Old Cork Waterworks Experience, Lee Road, Sunday’s Well, Cork T23 N828.
Led by Cork City Council's Biodiversity Officers, Rosemarie and Usna, the workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to take part in a wide range of Citizen Science Surveys, from pollinators and wildflowers to birds and mammals.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in running their own surveys and learn how to submit their findings online. A key part of the day will focus on the Flower-Insect Timed Count (FIT Count) — a simple but powerful tool for tracking pollinator activity that supports the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.
