Green Dog Walker Initiative

Green Dog Walker Initiative

The Green Dog Walker® Initiative, a community led initiative designed to promote responsible dog ownership and foster a cleaner, more health-conscious environment.

The campaign encourages dog walkers to not only clean up after their pets but also to carry extra bags to share with others, helping to address the persistent issue of dog fouling in public spaces.

The Green Dog Walker Initiative will deliver a range of resources to support its objectives which ambassadors can avail of. The initiative underscores the importance of shared responsibility in maintaining public spaces, benefiting the entire community, including residents, dog owners, and visitors.

What's the Green Dog Walker white high-vis, dog harness & dispenser and for?

If you see someone using the Green Dog Walkers® bag dispenser/kit, it means they have "Taken the Pledge"

  • to always clean up after their dog
  • to carry extra doggie bags
  • to gladly give you a bag for your dog
